چکیده

Many physical phenomena are governed by the aggregation of material. Such processes have been studied in earnest since the early parts of this century and continue to attract considerable interest within areas that range from astrophysics 2 to biology. The most powerful methods for analyzing these phenomena are based on general scaling arguments 5 applied to the number and size distribution of the accreting objects. This scaling theory is supported by analytic solutions of mean-field rate equations and kinetic Monte Carlo KMC simulations. 9,10

Thermodynamic Characterization of the Aggregation Phenomena of Safranine‌T by Spectral Titration and Chemometric Analysis

The dimerization constants of Safranine T have been determined by studying the dependence of its absorption spectra on the temperature in the range 30–70 ◦C at different total concentrations of Safranine T (1.03×10−5, 1.44×10−5 and 1.73×10−5 M). The monomer–dimer equilibrium of Safranine T has been determined by applying MCR-ALS method on the absorpti...

Fluctuations and scaling in models for particle aggregation

We consider two sequential models of deposition and aggregation for particles. The first model (No Diffusion) simulates surface diffusion through a deterministic capture area, while the second (Sequential Diffusion) allows the atoms to diffuse up to l steps. Therefore the second model incorporates more fluctuations than the first, but still less than usual (Full Diffusion) models of deposition ...

Kinetics of aggregation-annihilation processes.

Irreversible aggregation and annihilation processes occur in many natural phenomena [1,2]. The kinetics of each of these processes is well understood both on the mean-field level which provides an accurate description when fluctuations in reactant densities can be ignored [3,1,4] and in the fluctuation-dominated regime which occurs in low-dimensional systems, see [5], and references therein. It...
